Hi, I’m Crystal and I’d love to help you better understand your dog.
For over two decades, I worked in veterinary medicine, caring for thousands of dogs and supporting the people who love them. Along the way, I noticed something that changed the course of my career: many dogs labeled as "stubborn," "dominant," or "difficult" were actually struggling with fear, anxiety, pain, frustration, or unmet needs.
That realization led me to specialize in canine behavior and positive reinforcement training. Today, I combine my veterinary background with evidence-based behavior science to help families understand why behavior is happening (not just how to stop it.)
Whether your dog is fearful of visitors, reactive on walks, struggling with separation-related behaviors, has fear and anxiety about vet visits, or simply needs help building everyday skills, my goal is always the same: to understand the whole dog and create a practical, compassionate plan that helps both of you succeed.
I believe behavior is communication. When we listen to what our dogs are telling us instead of relying on punishment or quick fixes, we can create lasting change built on trust, confidence, and understanding.
